Victoria Mint Error - Reverse Brockage 1/2 Sovereign ND (1838-1885) VF35 NGC, KM735.1. A rare gold brockage of a Victorian 1/2 Sovereign, unknown date. Highly collectible as a gold error.

Mexico: Republic Mint Error - Double-Struck Off-Center 8 Reales ND AU55 NGC, Culiacan mint, KM377.3. Second strike off-center. Lustrous and nearly uncirculated, with a prominent off-center second strike that has drastically elongated the flan toward 6 o’clock. A scarce and unique mint error.

Mexico: Republic Mint Error - Double-Struck Off-Center 8 Reales 1893 Do-ND VF30 NGC, Durango mint, KM377.4, DP-Do84. Double-struck with second strike off-center. A fascinating double-struck issue exhibiting a cameo-like contrast between the toned fields and lighter raised devices. Slightly glossy with hints of blue in the fields, and very scarce as an error type.

Canada: Elizabeth II Mint Error - Cent Struck On 1976 Dime 1978 MS64 NGC, Royal Canadian mint, cf. KM592. A "silver” colored cent, the result of a being incorrectly struck on a 1976 dime. As is indicated on the insert, the undertype date is visible, located perpendicular to the intended date on the reverse.

Russia: USSR Mint Error - Blank Obverse 5 Kopecks 1924 AU55 Brown NGC, KM-Y79. Produced with a blank obverse side (the insert incorrectly notes this as the reverse). Possibly a test piece that entered circulation.

Canada: Elizabeth II Mint Error - Cent Double-Struck on Honduras 20 Centavos Planchet 1979 MS66 NGC, Royal Canadian mint, cf. KM59.2. A scarce example of a 1979 Cent double-struck over a Honduras 20 Centavos dated 1978.

Great Britain: Victoria Mint Error - Reverse Brockage Florin ND AU58 NGC, KM746, S-3891. A simply gorgeous full reverse brockage error. The reverse design has been fully impressed in incuse form into the true obverse, which in conjunction with the lustrous fields results in superb aesthetic appeal! Even the actual reverse shows minimal wear and sharp detail, making this example a wonderfully balanced brockage specimen.

Great Britain: George IV Mint Error - Obverse Brockage 1/2 Crown ND (1820-1823) AU53 NGC, KM676. Full obverse brockage strike with exceptional detail across the entirety of the brockage side and charcoal tones within the the incuse design elements resulting in tremendous visual contrast.

Great Britain: Victoria Mint Error - Broadstruck Obverse Brockage 6 Pence ND MS64 NGC, KM733. A delightful Mint State error with an immensely attractive patina and pullaway tone throughout the legends and around the front of Victoria’s bust. Less than two years ago we sold a similar error graded several points lower, at MS61, for $850 hammer.

Ireland: James II Mint Error - Off-Center Strike Limerick Siege 1/2 Penny 1691 VG08 ANACS, KM108, SCBC-6594. A clearly botched attempt to overstrike the Limerick siege 1/2 penny design on top of an older "gunmoney” shilling, which was the undertype for the 1/2 penny issues. The result is an interesting hybrid between the two types: half gunmoney shilling, half siege halfpenny. Glossy surfaces with traces of sky blue iridescence.

Great Britain: Victoria Mint Error - Obverse Brockage 1/2 Crown 1844 XF40 NGC, KM740, S-3888. A lovely full obverse brockage error, semi-lustrous on the brockage face with delightful interwoven metallic tones across both sides.

France: Louis XVI Mint Error - Double-Struck 12 Deniers 1792 MS63 NGC, KM600 (not KM88). A charming choice Mint State error with both strikes significantly off-center and rotated to dramatic effect.

Great Britain: George III Octagonal Counterstamped Bank of England Dollar ND (1800-1804) XF45 PCGS, KM656, S-3766, ESC-138. Counterstamp (AU Details). Struck on 8 Reales of Mexico dated 1800 Mo-FM. A scarce type showing a fully original patina with hints of color. The holder mistakenly dates the type to 1840.

Bulgaria: Boris III Mint Error - Reverse Brockage 10 Leva ND (1930) MS63 NGC, KM40. A full reverse brockage preserved in choice Mint State condition.

Solomon Islands: British Colony. Elizabeth II Mint Error - Mule 5 Dollars 2000 MS69 NGC, KM70. Obverse of Solomon Islands, with reverse dies from New Zealand (cf. KM125). The few past auction results available show this type regularly exceeding $1,000, but none of these have been certified. At MS69, this example is in the elite of what is available for the issue.
