The Holidays are now upon us, and I hope everyone has had a great time. By the time this issue goes out, it will be time for the big F.U.N. show in Florida. Recently, there has been lots of talk about doubled dies. Yes sir, these variety coins that are no longer supposed to happen. Well, I’m very happy to announce that they do. In fact, two of our members are now in the history books for discovering some of these modern ‘single press’ doubled dies. Gabe Alonzo who discovered a major example of the new Peace Nickel doubled die and Duane Smith who has found several doubled die reverse 2004 Lincoln Cents. You go guys! Make us proud! "Smitty” has also generously donated one of his finds to EW which will be raffled off totally free before Christmas to one lucky member. One of his coins recently sold on eBay for over $250.00! Not too bad for a one Cent investment.

Our 5th Aniversary celebration was a great success and I want to thank all our members for making EW Groups the best place for coin collectors today! I’m looking forward to seeing you here sometime soon!
