I have always wanted a major proof error from the hoard that came out from the 1970s. I have been watching the auctions on these for years now and always got outbid. When I saw this particular example, I knew I had to buy it because of the amazing eye appeal. The coin also has a split from the extreme pressure of the massive broadstrike. This coin is almost the size of an Ike Dollar. There are two dates visible on the obverse and the reverse has eye appeal that is off the charts!
