This unique discovery is an incredible set of Indonesian uncancelled dies. They are all from 1971 and struck regular legal tender circulating coins for Indonesia. Included are the obverse and reverse uncancelled dies for the 50 Rupiah, 25 Rupiah, and an uncancelled obverse die for the 10 Rupiah. The final two dies in this set are a pair of uncancelled obverse and reverse Design Validation (DV) dies for the 10 Rupiah that were produced as part of the die making process and feature the adopted design.
This set was just authenticated and certified by NGC. They were well preserved considering that they are over half a century old. Uncancelled dies that struck legal tender coins from around the world are very rare and highly coveted by dealers and collectors. This discovery was previously unknown to the numismatic community and is now being offered for sale for the first time.
