Unique Pair of Indonesia Uncancelled Dies Just Discovered
This unique discovery is a pair of Indonesia 100 Rupiah uncancelled dies. The 1973 dated die is an uncancelled obverse for the 100 Rupiah. It is a regular legal tender circulating coin. The 1978 dated die is an uncancelled reverse for the 100 Rupiah as well. It is a commemorative issue legal tender circulating coin.
These uncancelled dies have a height of 30 mm and are 40 mm wide at the base. The 100 Rupiah coins have a diameter of 28.5 mm and were struck in a composition of copper nickel with a weight of 7.0 grams.
Uncancelled dies that struck legal tender coins from around the world are very rare and highly coveted by dealers and collectors.
